Our Owner and Founder
Don Wakeman
President
Don organized Wakeman Equipment back in 1992. For the last thirty years he has been primarily responsible for expanding both Garmat and Car-O-Liner sales in our territory. Don began his career in the collision industry as a body shop technician giving him the first hand knowledge needed to service our customers and meet their equipment needs., Don enjoys working with our customers to design the most efficient equipment layout to maximize their space and increase productivity.
Our Sales Team
Chris Cooling
Sales Territory: Southern Wisconsin, Iowa and Northern Illinois. Chris joined Wakeman Equipment in 2014. I-CAR certified instructor
James Gregait
Sales Territory: Southern Wisconsin, Iowa, and Northern Illinois James started with Wakeman Equipment in 2019.
I-CAR certified instructor
Scott Hausauer
Sales Territory: Northern Wisconsin, Minnesota and the UP of Michigan. Scott joined Wakeman Equipment in 2012. I-CAR certified instructor
Our Office Team
Patty Schwendtner
General Manager and Garmat Sales Coordinator
Patty joined Wakeman Equipment in 2020 bringing 25 years of experience to the company. In her role as GM Patty oversees the day to day operations of the company and as Garmat Sales Coordinator she works with our sales team and our customers to ensure a smooth sales to installation process of paint spray booths.
Rosie Degnitz

Car-O-Liner Sales Coordinator and Administrative Assistant
Rosie joined Wakeman Equipment in 2021. Rosie handles Car-O-Liner parts sales and assists in the coordination of equipment purchases. She also handles booth filters and assists with administration.
Mary Russell
Service Coordinator
Mary joined Wakeman Equipment in 2021 and handles service coordination and Garmat parts. Mary brought with her over 10 years of experience in service coordination and customer service.
